Office boys are true corona warriors as they ensure uninterrupted and smooth functioning of transactions by collecting/delivering the requisite documents, forms, etc. Their job requires interacting with various people across different locations, thereby making them more vulnerable to the virus.
Every time an office boy visits MFD Johncy Jacob of Thirukochi Financial Services, he thinks about his safety. As a small act of kindness, he decided to sponsor their vaccination.
Along with a fund house , Johncy has organised a paid vaccination drive through a private hospital for his employees, clients, and their relatives/acquaintances. However, he decided to bear the costs for office boys in this drive. He made a list of office boys working with AMCs with the help of relationship managers and funded their vaccination cost.
Johncy said that these employees are not eligible for free vaccination drive as the Kerala government has been holding free vaccination camp only for individual over 45 years of age.
The drive was held on June 21 and was open for all in the 18+ category. 140 people benefitted from these drive.
