L&T Mutual Fund has appointed Debashish Mohanty as an Advisor to the fund house, said a communication sent to Cafemutual by the fund house.
Under this role, Mohanty will guide the fund house on growing MF business by expanding distribution network and increasing presence in B-30 cities.
With over 35 years of experience in the mutual fund business, Mohanty has played a significant role in the growth of retail business and distribution network of UTI Mutual Fund. He has a deep understanding of products, consumer insights and distribution possibilities.
Currently, L&T MF has 65% of the total AUM coming from retail investors.
