    ARIA launches #ARIAtrulycares for covid affected families

    Under this new initiative, a group of 25 RIAs will help family members claim investments post the death of family members. ARIA will formally launch this initiative on September 30, 2021 at 5 pm.

    Keeping in the mind the challenges faced by family who lost their loved ones due to covid, the Association of Registered Investment Advisers (ARIA) will launch its new initiative #ARIAtrulycares on September 30 at 5 pm.

    Under this initiative, an exclusive panel of 25 RIAs will help family members claim investments post the death of an investor. MFDs and other financial professionals can also learn about asset transfer process and reconstruction of financial record among other things to help such families.

    K V Kamath, Former-President, New Development Bank will be the guest of honour while Pramod Rao, Group General Counsel, ICICI Bank will share a special note.

    #ARIAtrulycares has identified two broad domains for its immediate attention:

    Domain 1

     Domain 2

    Information/assistance on:

    • Asset transfer process
    • Reconstructing financial records of dead/ incapacitated
    • Grievance and appeal process for rejected insurance claims
    • Funding avenues for income loss/loan default
    • Preparing for future adversities including nomination

    Continuous advocacy for achieving:

    • Standardisation of asset transfer process
    • Online nomination process
    • Simplification of the asset transfer process

    The launch event will talk more about the objectives of #ARIAtrulycares, and how can its assistance be availed. “A dedicated support email for reaching out to the advisory panel will be unveiled at the event”, shared Tarun Birani, who is on the board of ARIA.

     “#ARIAtrulycares is the first initiative of its kind through which the association strives to reach out to more and more people who are in need during these testing times”, added Tarun.
