6 Oct 2021 marks the celebration of the fifth annual World Financial Planning Day. Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) along with its global networks will raise awareness on the need of having a financial plan and a competent & ethical financial planner.
In this context, FPSB will broadcast a global event at 6.30 pm (Indian time) and will feature a special address by Martin Moloney, Secretary General, IOSCO for a special address. The upcoming annual event promotes how standards of competence, ethics and putting clients’ interests first can restore trust in financial services. It also provides an opportunity for the global and Indian Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professional community to empower people through financial literacy. “Consumers with a financial plan are nearly three times more likely to feel confident about achieving their life goals,” shared Noel Maye, CEO, FPSB.
The Fifth Annual World Financial Planning Day forms a part of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) World Investor Week and will host a series of programs in India.
