    FPSB rings the bell on World Financial Planning Day

    The ringing bell at BSE highlighted the importance of a financial plan and a financial planner.

    Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) along with its global networks and Indian CFP professional community emphasised the significance of having a financial plan and a competent & ethical financial planner. This message echoed through the bell ringing ceremony at BSE on World Financial Planning Day.

    Ashish Chauhan, MD & CEO, BSE; Rajesh Krishnamoorthy, Country Head, FPSB India Liaison Office; Arun Thukral, CFP, Chairperson of FPSB’s CFP Professional Advisory Council and Vishal Dhawan, CFP rang the bell.

    FPSB organised an exclusive panel discussion to discuss the need for an account aggregator ecosystem to evolve in India. The panellists were Pramod Rao, Group General Counsel of ICICI Bank along with B.G. Mahesh, Co-founder & CEO of DigiSahamati Foundation (Sahamati) and Harsh Roongta, Director of the Association of Registered Investment Advisors.

    Additionally, Radhika Gupta, MD & CEO of Edelweiss AMC; Ajit Menon, CEO of PGIM India Mutual Fund and Swarup Mohanty, CEO of Mirae Asset Investment Managers joined FPSB to raise awareness about financial planning by sharing some sound advice.
