ITI Mutual Fund employees and MFD associations in Bhopal and Indore have extended financial support to the family of a deceased ITI MF employee Sandeep Tripathi. They have handed over Rs.16 lakh to the family.
Bhopal-based Mutual Fund Distributor Association (MFDA) spearheaded an initiative to arrange financial support for the family.
Tripathi was manager of ITI MF's Bhopal branch. The 38-year succumbed to Covid in May 2021. He is survived by his wife and two children — 10-year-old daughter and 18-month-old son, informed MFDA president Harish Krishnani.
ITI MF employees conducted an internal fundraiser and were able to donate Rs 10 lakh to the family. Through similar fundraisers, Bhopal's MFDA arranged Rs 5 lakh and Indore's Insurance and Investment Advisor’s Association (IIAA) collected Rs 1 lakh for the family.
“He was a part of our mutual fund family for six years. We did whatever we could to help his family during these tough times,” Krishnani said.
