MFDs can either choose from the online training programme or classroom training programme for completing the mandatory CPE (Continuing Professional Education). While senior MFDs who are not so tech-savvy prefer the conventional mode, there is no denying that classroom training has an edge over online training.
However, members of Pondicherry Individual Financial Advisors Association (PIFAA) are required to travel to Chennai or other nearby cities for classroom programmes. Understanding their plight, PIFAA decided to organise the CPE programme in Pondicherry itself.
The association got in touch with a NISM empanelled training institute and a renowned AMC for arranging the logistics. Members were encouraged to register and were kept informed of all training-related updates.
Amidst unannounced rains and the ongoing pandemic, the association ensured timely coordination amongst all stakeholders for the successful execution of the training.
S. Srinivasan, who is a senior member of IFA Galaxy was the programme trainer. Sharing his experience with Cafemutual, Srinivasan shared, “The programme covered all the important facets and guided participants to complete the renewal process.”
“Through this initiative, PIFAA has helped its members to renew their ARNs without any glitches,” said PN Prasad, President, PIFAA.
The CPE training was held on Dec 18, 2021, which guided 33 members to renew their ARN well in time.
