    Nimesh Chandan joins Bajaj Finserv’s upcoming mutual fund as CIO

    Chandan was previously heading the equity team at Canara Robeco Mutual Fund.

    Nimesh Chandan will be heading the investment team at Bajaj Finserv's upcoming mutual fund. Chandan has joined the fund house as its Chief Investment Officer.

    Prior to joining Bajaj Finserv, Chandan was Head – Investments, Equity at Canara Robeco Mutual Fund, where he spent more than 13 years. He joined as Head - Offshore Investments in July 2008 and was promoted to Head-investments (Equities) in September 2018.

    He has also worked with Birla Sunlife Asset Management and SBI Asset Management.

    Chandan is known for his monthly newsletters on behavioural finance. He recently released a book on the same.

    Bajaj Finserv received in-principle approval from SEBI in August 2021 to start mutual fund business. The company is in the process of setting up the AMC as it awaits SEBI's final approval.
