UTI AMC has reported a 9% decline in December quarter (Q3) profit at Rs. 127 crore. Revenue from operations has declined by 10% to Rs. 309 crore compared to the corresponding quarter last year.

During the quarter, the average AUM of the fund house has risen by 36% y-o-y to Rs. 2.25 lakh crore. The mutual fund received a gross inflow of Rs. 1,352 crore through SIPs. As a result, the SIP AUM registered a growth of 4.24% during the quarter compared to Q2 FY 2022.
Commenting on the results, the CEO of UTI AMC, Imtaiyazur Rahman said, "We have continued our positive momentum in Q3 FY22 with sustained fund performance, robust risk management and granular distribution network. Given the environment & heightening concerns with the emergence of the new variant, the volatility in the market was one of the factors that could have become a matter of concern for the investors."
