After success of the first edition of MF Cricket Icon Contest, Union MF and Cafemutual have once again come together to launch the second edition of the much-loved competition.
Sharing the rationale for launching this contest, G Pradeepkumar, CEO, Union MF said," The first edition received a lot of love and appreciation from the MF community. The contest was successful in capturing the sportsman spirit of the community and helped them better enjoy the country's favourite sport. Given the success last year, we are launching the contest again hoping that it will deliver even higher level of excitement and entertainment this year."
To participate in the contest, you will have to predict the player of the match ahead of each game. If your predictions turn out to be right, you stand a chance to become the MF Cricket Icon 2022.
Participants can send up to 5 names for each match through WhatsApp (9709008634). The entries will be accepted till the first ball is bowled.
How the contest works
- Send us names of 5 players who according to you can be the 'player of the match'
- If one of the selected players becomes the 'player of the match', you earn 10 points
- Similarly, once the playoff ends, you have to give us 5 names who stand a chance of becoming 'the player of the tournament', ‘the highest run getter’ and ‘the highest wicket taker’. For each right prediction, you will earn 50 points. You can earn up to 150 points here
- Finally, you have to predict the winning team of the tournament to earn another 50 points

A dashboard will be available throughout the competition on Cafemutual website. The participants can keep a track of the score by visiting our website

What will you get?
At the end of the tournament, top 3 scorers from each zone — North, South, East and West will be 'The MF Cricket Icon'. These 12 winners will be awarded with trophies and get exclusive coverage on Cafemutual.
