An RTA employee (name held back on request) from Bikaner, Rajasthan recently passed away due to an illness. The deceased was only 40 years and is survived by his homemaker wife, 5-year old son and 1-year old daughter.

To pay their last respect to the departed soul, close to 45 MFDs jointly contributed Rs. 2.50 lakh to secure the future of his children. Rs. 2 lakh has already been invested in two children’s funds of Rs. 1 lakh each under the guardianship of the grieving widow. Remaining Rs. 50,000 will also be invested.

Sharing the unfortunate news with Cafemutual, Pankaj Pancharia of Fundspru.com said, “Our industry friend left us two months back and his untimely demise has left us in a state of shock. He was on cordial terms will all MFDs. Besides, he always took extra care to handhold new MFDs to understand every process better.”

“Every industry participant is a part of one big MF family and we are trying to extend our support to the family of our beloved late friend. His wife was deeply touched by the unity and brotherhood in the MF industry”, said Pankaj.
