Chennai MFD AS Muralidharran of Veera Finserve has created a learning group on Clubhouse, an app which supports audio chat rooms to help fellow MFDs learn from peers.
Muralidharran believes that timely and expert guidance can make things simple for MFDs. He said, “When I first started as an MFD I faced challenges and was in search of guidance. With this in mind, I along with MFD Padmanaban created a group titled ‘Future Ready MFDs’ on Clubhouse. Initially, the idea behind this group was to serve as a knowledge-sharing platform. Eventually, we decided to address specific topics by hosting industry veterans.”
Every Sunday, senior MFDs share their knowledge and address queries of other MFDs from 11 am to 12 noon.
The group has hosted many MFDs like AK Narayan, Babu Krishnamurthy, Chokkalingam Palaniappan, Ramesh Bhat, Srikanth Matrubhai and Sundararaman Srinivasan. It has addressed some of the most pertinent topics like the importance of selecting a mentor, generating additional income streams, handling client objections and so on.
‘Future Ready MFDs’ recently completed eight months and has more than 500 members. The group has its presence across different geographies like Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jalandhar, Kanyakumari, Madurai, Mumbai, Pune and Trichy.
Interested MFDs can download the ‘Clubhouse’ app, search for ‘FUTURE READY MFD’s’ and hit on the ‘Apply’ button. Alternatively, they can reach out to Muralidharran at 87540 35456.
“Seeing the positive response, we have also created a WhatsApp group titled ‘SIP DRIVE’ to share latest industry updates and tips to conduct SIP drives. The group is already houseful,” said Muralidharran.
