Mutual funds resolved more investor complaints in FY 2022 than they received during the financial year. As a result, the industry closed the year with fewer pending complaints than in FY 2021.
AMFI data shows that while investors registered 19,996 complaints with mutual funds in FY 2022, the industry resolved a total of 20,077 complaints during the year. As a result, the complaint backlog reduced from 177 at the end of FY 2021 to 96 at the end of FY 2022.
There are now 27 fund houses with zero pending complaints. At the end of March 2021, the number of such fund houses was 26.
