To mark the occasion of Father’s Day, Kotak Mutual Fund has released a video to commemorate the selfless heroism of late Mr. Mahesh Trivedi who donated blood 117 times in his lifetime.
Late Mr. Mahesh Trivedi was the father of Amit Trivedi who wears many hats - Author, Speaker and Trainer. Amit is a founder of Karmayog Knowledge Academy.
Sharing the inspiring story of his father, Amit, in the video, says, “Khare sagar me ek chamach chini dalne se sagar mitha nahi hoga (A spoon of sugar cannot make sea water sweet) but that didn’t stop my father Mr. Mahesh Trivedi from doing his bit every time.”
Amit said that his father started donating blood in 1967 and later set up a blood transfusion centre for Thalassemia patients (Thalassemia causes blood deficiency in human body). With time, he diversified his heroism by becoming author, performer and motivational speaker.
Amit further said, “He is my superhero and an inspiration to many. He is a perfect example of how a small change can bring big development. And no one can calculate the value of this investment. Some people don’t expect returns. They just keep on investing.”
