Post the widely accepted “Mutual Fund Sahi Hai” campaign, the participation of retail investors in capital markets has grown multi-fold. However, there is a need for a mutual fund portfolio that can weather every market mood rather than just a single fund(s).
In this context, ABSL (Aditya Birla Sun Life) MF has launched Pro Portfolio - an investor education campaign that aims to educate about the importance of creating a portfolio with a combination of funds. The campaign carries the tagline - Mutual Fund Sahi Hai, Par Ek Kaafi Nahin Hai.
A Pro Portfolio is a combination of flexi cap, balanced advantage and large cap fund which would take care of various market cycles and volatile periods.
In a press release, A. Balasubramanian, MD and CEO, ABSL MF said, “By balancing risks and accelerating returns, the combination of funds seeks to perform well in all market cycles and helps in wealth creation in the longer run. With this campaign, we continue to aim to educate and empower investors in their quest to achieve financial independence.”
Ajay Kakar, CMO, Aditya Birla Capital said, “We have built the investor education campaign by connecting life with money. Just as life sees ups and downs, so do the financial markets. In life, we depend on our many friendships to manage life’s ups and downs. Similarly, shouldn’t we have a portfolio of equity funds to manage the financial market’s ups and downs?”
