SEBI has approved the name of Ashish Chauhan as the MD and CEO of NSE.

The appointment is subject to acceptance of the offer and fulfilment of terms and conditions including shareholders’ approval.

The new MD and CEO will succeed Vikram Limaye whose term ended on Jul 16.

Ashish is currently the MD and CEO of BSE and is serving his second five-year term which ends in Nov.
