Somnath Sengupta, an avid photographer from West Bengal practices different types of photography like macro, wildlife, travel and nature.
He is a regular at various photography workshops and has also learnt post-processing techniques. Somnath believes that post-processing gives every picture a deeper meaning and conveys each story precisely.
His dedication to his passion has won him lots of appreciation. In 2019, ‘Discover India’s North East’, a travel magazine published Somnath’s picture under its ‘Reader’s Photo Gallery’ session.
Somnath currently works in the PMS (Portfolio Management Service) and AIF (Alternative Investment Fund) industry as Associate Vice President-Business Development with ASK Investment Managers in Kolkata. Before this, he worked as a mutual fund sales professional for 14 years.
