UTI, Franklin Templeton and Birla Sun Life MF bag Outlook Money Awards

K N Sivasubramanian is the best equity fund manager and Amandeep Chopra is best debt fund manager.

UTI Mutual Fund bagged the best fund house award at the Outlook Money Awards event held in Mumbai yesterday. Franklin Templeton walked away with the best equity fund house award while Birla Sun Life was awarded the best debt fund house.

K N Sivasubramanian of Franklin Templeton won the best equity fund manager award while Amandeep Chopra of UTI bagged the best debt fund manager award.

Awards were also presented to players in sectors including insurance, broking and banking. 

The awards were monitored by a jury comprising T.V Mohandas Pai, Chairman, Manipal Global Education, Ashish Chauhan, MD & CEO, BSE, V. Vaidyanathan, CMD, Capital First, Sandeep Ghose, Director, NISM, M.S. Sahoo, Secretary, Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ISCI) Udayan Ray, Editor, Outlook Money.

Senior BJP Leader and Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Mr Jaswant Singh gave his perspective on the current political scenario. Kenneth S Rogoff, Thomas D Cabot, Professor of Public Policy, Economics Dept, Harvard University delivered the keynote address.
