SBI MF, ICICI Prudential MF and HDFC MF retain their top spots, reveals the latest AMFI data. They individually manage assets of Rs 7.62 lakh crore, Rs 5.31 lakh crore and Rs 4.86 lakh crore, respectively as on June 2023.
Interestingly, the other names in the top-10 list are also the same. While their rankings are also similar, Mirae Asset MF and Bandhan MF (Erstwhile IDFC MF) swapped positions to occupy the ninth and tenth spots, respectively.
Nippon India MF (Rs 3.14 lakh crore), Kotak MF (Rs 3.10 lakh crore), Aditya Birla Sun Life MF (Rs 2.99 lakh crore), Axis MF (Rs 2.48 lakh crore), UTI MF (Rs 2.48 lakh crore), Mirae Asset MF (Rs 1.23 lakh crore) and Bandhan MF (Rs 1.18 lakh crore) occupy the next seven spots.
Further analysis reveals, the top three fund houses report the highest growth in absolute terms. The asset base of SBI MF, ICICI Prudential MF and HDFC MF grew by Rs 45,187 crore, Rs 31,702 crore and Rs 35,982 crore, respectively.
In percentage terms, four fund houses - Navi MF, WhiteOak Capital MF, quant MF and Bank of India MF have grown over 20%.
