AMFI members have elected Navneet Munot of HDFC MF as the new Chairman and Anthony Heredia of Mahindra Manulife MF as the new Vice Chairman.
The new Chairman and Vice Chairman will take charge from October 16, 2023.
Talking about his selection, Navneet said in a press release, “I am honoured to assume the responsibilities as AMFI Chairman. I am hugely excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for the industry. I look forward to collaborating with my industry colleagues and working under the guidance of our regulator SEBI to propel the mutual fund industry to even greater heights.”
Anthony also shared his comments and stated, “I am delighted to step into the role of AMFI Vice Chairman. It's an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the mutual fund industry in India. I am eager to work collaboratively with our industry partners and stakeholders to chart a path towards achieving the ambitious goal of managing 100 trillion AUM.”
