This festive season, we celebrate MFD heroes across India who through their own way created Khushiyo wali Diwali for many. They are none other than Sanjeevani MFD Award winners who made it to the hall of fame through their relentless efforts and selfless service.

Let’s go back and rejoice in these acts of kindness and proficiency which lit the lamp of joy and hope for others.

    Sanjeevani MFD Awards 2022

Ajitabh Goswami and Gajendra Kumar Roy, We Reach We Help, Shillong, Meghalaya - The duo along with other like-minded MFDs formed a self-funded community in 2020 to help people affected by covid-19. They distributed masks, food packets, sanitizers, medicines, etc. to not only clients but also others.

Amrita Mishra, Darbhanga, Bihar - At the time of the untimely demise of one of her clients who was the sole earner of his family, Amrita got personally involved and ensured that his family received a compensation of Rs. 5 lakh from the company where he worked and a monthly pension from the Government for his wife.

Dhanesh Advani, Nashik, Maharashtra - The MFD took care of one of his client’s father sufferings from covid-19. He helped with the hospitalization and kept the client continuously informed who was in the US. Unfortunately, the patient passed away and Dhanesh not only cleared the discharge formalities but also performed the last rites.

Prakash Sheth, Mumbai, Maharashtra - Prakash kept a close watch on the progress of his barber client who is from a modest background. He was hospitalized due to covid-19 and had an insurance cover of only Rs 5 lakh as against total expenses of Rs 15 lakh. However, with his acumen, Prakash helped with the cashless settlement of the entire bill.

Shalab Gupta Bibhab of Bibhab Capital, Agra, Uttar Pradesh - The MFD installed a mammography machine in a government hospital to aid in the detection of breast cancer. Additionally, he has been supporting an NGO that takes care of special children and the education of two underprivileged children.

    Sanjeevani MFD Awards 2023

Anand Zinzuvadia, Amreli, Gujarat - Inflation and expenses are always on the rise and any extra-ordinary expenses like weddings could disturb the overall finances for any investor. However, MFD Anand proficiently guided one of his clients to create a decent corpus to fund the wedding of five daughters.

Ashok and Rashmi Thukral, Gurugram, Haryana - The MFD couple helped a client become crorepati in just five years. The journey that started with Rs. 18 lakh gradually shaped into monthly SIPs of Rs. 1 lakh and with top-ups, this corpus grew to over Rs.15 crore in December 2021. This was adequate for funding the client’s retirement and foreign education of his two daughters.

Hari Kamat, Panaji, Goa - He helped an investor who was keen to invest Rs 60,000 in PPF. Talking about mutual funds, Hari guided this client to invest 50% in mutual funds and balance in PPF. In sixteen years, the PPF contribution grew to Rs 45 lakh and the ELSS investment became Rs 1.92 crore.

Nisha Dave, Anand, Gujarat - Nisha helped an investor who was nearing his retirement age to plan his retirement and build a decent corpus. Additionally, she also guided this investor to create a separate corpus to fund his children’s education.

Paresh and Charmi Shah, Mumbai, Maharashtra - The father-daughter duo created a corpus of Rs 8 crore for a client who could afford an SIP of only Rs 1,800 two decades back. While the client also invested Rs 10,000 lump sum, he kept increasing his investments periodically under the expert guidance of the Shahs.

S Ramprabu, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu - When a villager wanted to invest lumpsum Rs 30 lakh in real estate, the MFD explained the benefits of mutual funds. While it took him four months to convince, the villager built a mutual fund corpus of Rs 1.50 crore in 15 years from the Rs 15 lakh invested. The remaining amount of Rs 15 lakh that went into real estate grew only to Rs 40 lakh.

Sadashiv Phene, Mumbai, Maharashtra - The MFD did something unusual by urging one of his clients to sell gold and invest in mutual funds. Through this, he helped this client fund the education and marriage of three daughters, two of whom are happily settled abroad now.

Sandeep Bhushetty, Pune, Maharashtra – For over 15 years, Sandeep guided a domestic help to fund her daughter’s education. After completing Bachelors of Computer Sciences and subsequently Master of Computer Sciences, the daughter now works in a reputed multinational company.
