    If we remove AUM of arbitrage funds, the rank changes slightly to ICICI Pru, HDFC and SBI as the top three players.

    An analysis of AUM done by Cafemutual shows that ICICI Prudential MF, SBI MF and HDFC MF are the three biggest fund houses in terms of hybrid funds AUM.

    Please note that we have included multi asset allocation funds, aggressive hybrid funds, balanced advantage funds, conservative hybrid funds, equity savings funds and arbitrage funds in this analysis.

    ICICI Prudential MF tops the list with the highest hybrid AUM of Rs. 1.54 lakh crore.

    SBI MF and HDFC MF are the second and third largest fund houses with hybrid fund AUM of Rs. 1.46 lakh crore and Rs. 1.37 lakh crore, respectively. Kotak MF and Nippon India MF complete the top 5 with the hybrid AUM of Rs. 72800 crore and Rs. 32000 crore, respectively.

    Among others in the top ten are Tata MF, Aditya Birla MF, UTI MF, Edelweiss MF and DSP MF.

    Collectively, the top 30 fund houses manage hybrid AUM of Rs. 7.76 lakh crore.

    When it comes to hybrid AUM without arbitrage funds, ICICI Prudential MF has the highest AUM of Rs. 1.36 lakh crore.

    HDFC MF overtakes SBI MF in this category to take the second spot with an AUM of Rs. 1.26 lakh crore. SBI MF is the third with an AUM of Rs. 1.18 lakh crore.

    Kotak MF and UTI MF are the next fund houses in the top 5 who manage hybrid assets of Rs. 33000 crore and Rs. 20000 crore, respectively.
