Kolkata based Ask Circle group felicitated 10 IFAs with Samman (respect) Awards at the 7th Annual Mutual Fund Round Table (MFRT) Summit held in Agra.
“These advisors have been shortlisted not based on their AUM. We present these awards to honor the unflinching zeal and inspiring efforts showcased by advisors,” said Kanak Jain, Mentor, Ask Circle.
Amit Thakker from Mumbai who has a cerebral palsy received standing ovation for building an AUM of Rs. 40 crore in mutual funds. Despite being differently abled, Amit uses the Mumbai public transport to meet his clients. His inspiring story touched the hearts of IFAs.
Pune based Hiten Shah was recognized for his contribution in helping people convert their physical shares in demat form. Hiten has now built his mutual fund practice by converting the same clients in mutual funds.
Four friends who studied in the same college and worked in the same organization ended up being business partners by starting their advisory practice. In a small town of Bhilai, these young turks (Yogendra Singh, Krishna Gupta, Ziauddin Khan & Jay Sonchhatra) command a fee for advising clients.
Jitendra Balwani from Nagpur saw a setback in life after his business partners parted also bagged MFRT Samman for successfully building his practice from scratch by using Reliance ATM Card to acquire clients.
Awards were also presented to Rajesh Hattangady, Rajesh Chhedha, Ashish Goel, Ramesh Maloo, Shiva Prasad Konduru, Datta Kanbargi and Anita Kanbargi.
Pune IFA Association also received a Samman award for outstanding work in uniting, educating and working towards the cause of empowering IFAs in Pune.
