FPSB India and NISM have partnered to launch a Postgraduate Program in Financial Planning.
The two-year PG program in financial planning is designed to equip aspirants and professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills required in the financial services industry.
In a press release, Krishan Mishra, CEO of FPSB India said, "This collaboration marks a significant stride in our joint mission to elevate the standards of financial literacy and planning in India. With the Union Budget 2024’s focus on skill development, this program is poised to empower students to build successful careers in the financial planning sector and contribute meaningfully to India’s financial ecosystem.”
Sashi Krishnan, Director of NISM said, “Our partnership with FPSB India will provide students and financial sector aspirants with a robust curriculum and access to industry experts, preparing them to meet the evolving needs of the financial services industry.”
This new PG Program in financial planning is set to commence later this year and will offer comprehensive coursework covering essential aspects of financial planning, investment management, risk assessment, and retirement planning. The program is designed to meet the evolving needs of the financial industry and to prepare graduates for successful careers as certified financial planners.
