A Balasubramanian replaces Sandesh Kirkire as the Vice Chairman of AMFI.
Sundeep Sikka, CEO of Reliance Mutual Fund has been reappointed as the chairman of AMFI at the recently held AMFI’s AGM, said sources close to the development.
Sandesh Kirkire who held the position of Vice Chairman of AMFI is said to have been replaced by A Balasubramanian, CEO of Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund. Sandesh Kirkire quit Kotak Mutual Fund recently.
Nandkumar Surti, CEO of JP Morgan Mutual Fund and G Pradeepkumar, CEO of Union KBC Mutual Fund are the new members on AMFI’s board. Nandkumar Surti and G Pradeepkumar replace Suresh Soni and Jaideep Bhattacharya, respectively.
Also Leo Puri has been given extension as the Director on AMFI’s board, said sources.
AMFI
has also reshuffled the chairmen’s of its two committees.
S Naganath has been appointed as the chairman of valuation committee. Earlier, Sandesh Kirkire was heading this committee. Arvind Sethi, CEO of Tata Mutual Fund will now head the Financial Literacy committee. Sources said that the members of AMFI’s sub-committee are also likely to change.
