HDFC Mutual Fund has recently launched WhatsApp-based Tap2Invest facility.
The fund house claims that this, the first of its kind initiative in the MF industry, allows the existing KYC-verified investors to invest in mutual fund schemes through WhatsApp.
Investors can start a SIP or make a lumpsum investment in HDFC Mutual Fund schemes directly through WhatsApp (+91-82706 82706). The platform supports multiple payment options, including UPI Autopay, net banking, and other digital modes, ensuring flexibility and ease of transactions.
In a press release, Navneet Munot, MD & CEO of HDFC MF, said, "Our main focus is to simplify the investment journey for our investors. With the increasing adoption of digital solutions, we recognize the need for platforms that offer both convenience and security to fulfil our mission ‘To be the wealth creator for every Indian’. This initiative will make it easier for investors to initiate and manage their mutual fund investments.”
