HSBC Mutual Fund files offer document for its Capital Protection Oriented Fund – Series II –Plan I to IV
HSBC Mutual Fund has filed a draft offer document with SEBI for its close ended capital protection oriented scheme called – HSBC Capital Protection Oriented Fund – Series II- Plan I to IV.
The scheme aims to seek capital protection by investing a portion of the portfolio in high quality debt securities and money market instruments and also to provide capital appreciation by investing in equities through NIFTY (Index) call options. The scheme plans to launch four plans over a tenor of 3 to 3.9 years. The scheme will be investing 80%-100% in fixed income and money market instruments and up to 20% in equity through NIFTY Index Call options.
The benchmark of the scheme is CRISIL MIP Blended Index. The fund will be co-managed by Sanjay Shah and Amaresh Mishra.
