    Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka are the top three states in equity AAUM.

    AMFI data shows that Maharashtra, New Delhi and Gujarat are the top three states in terms of mutual fund assets as of March 2025.

    Maharashtra tops the table with AUM of Rs.27 lakh crore. New Delhi and Gujarat are the net two states with assets of Rs.5.60 lakh crore and Rs.4.64 lakh crore, respectively.

    Karnataka and West Bengal complete the top five list in terms of AUM.

    Only seven states have AUM more than Rs.3 lakh crore which include Maharashtra, New Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu

    The top 10 states have AUM of more than Rs.1 lakh crore, which additionally include Rajasthan, Telangana and Madhya Pradesh.

    Equity and non-equity AAUM

    • Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, New Delhi and West Bengal are the top five states in the equity AAUM
    • These states have AAUM of Rs.11.34 lakh crore, Rs.3.29 lakh crore, Rs.3.16 lakh crore, Rs.2.97 lakh crore and Rs.2.41 lakh crore, respectively
    • Maharashtra, New Delhi, Karnataka, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu are the top five states in non-equity AAUM. These states have an AAUM of Rs.15.66 lakh crore, Rs.2.63 Lakh crore, Rs.1.42 lakh crore, Rs.1.35 lakh crore and Rs.1.13 lakh crore, respectively
