More than 150 members from across India participated in the event.
IFA association Foundation of Independent Financial Advisors (FIFA) held its first Annual Conference on 14 March in Mumbai.
Leading IFAs - Bharat Phatak, Vinod Jain, Lovaii Navlakhi and Pallav Bagaria shared their success stories. The event also had a fun session of group activities amongst all FIFA members and other guests.
“There was a group fun activity which was basically an ice breaker for outstation members to interact with each other. There was a mix of gathering from CEOs, CIOs, sales heads and IFAs. The event was very well appreciated. The second half of the sessions included a very frank and candid talk by Sanjoy Bhattacharya on the crucial role of selecting a good fund manager by IFAs for their client’s. This was followed by a very emotional and heart touching talk and presentation by Anand Kumar of the Super 30 program in Bihar,” said Yogesh Sharma, Director, FIFA.
Along with FIFA members from across the country, some of the CEOs who attended the event were Chandresh Nigam, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, AXIS AMC, Sharad Sharma, Chief Executive Officer, BNP Paribas AMC, Rajnish Narula, Chief Executive Officer, Canara Robeco AMC, Vikaas Sachdeva, Chief Executive Officer, Edelweiss AMC, Harshendu Bindal, President, Franklin Templeton Asset Management, Milind Barve, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, HDFC AMC, Satya Narayan Baheti, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, IDBI AMC along with the heads of several other AMCs.
Apart from CEOs, several CIOs, sales heads and other senior AMC executives were also present at the event. V Ramesh Managing Director of IMFI was also present.
Founded in 2012, FIFA has more than 300 members registered with it. Also, three IFA Associations - Pune Investment Adivsors Association, Insurance and Investment Advisors Association Indore, Gwalior Division MF Distributors Welfare Association Samiti are members of FIFA.
