UTI Opportunities Fund declares tax-free dividend of 15 percent                                                              

UTI Opportunities Fund declares tax-free dividend of 15% (Re.1.50 per unit on face value of Rs.10) under dividend option-existing plan and dividend option –direct plan, says the press release issued by the company.

The record date for the dividend is April 23, 2015.

All unit holders registered under the dividend option-existing plan and dividend option- direct plan of UTI Opportunities Fund as on the record date will be eligible for this dividend. Also investors who join the dividend option -existing plan and dividend option-direct plan of the scheme on or before the cut off time of the record date will be eligible for the dividend.

The NAV of UTI Opportunities Fund on April 16, 2015 under dividend option-existing plan was Rs.20.5752 and under dividend option-direct plan was Rs.22.5287.   

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate capital appreciation and/or income distribution by investing the funds of the scheme in equity and equity related instruments. UTI Opportunities Fund was launched in July 2005 as an open-ended equity scheme.

Mr. Anoop Bhaskar is the fund manager of the scheme.
