    Baroda Pioneer appoints Anthony Heredia as its CEO

    Anthony was earlier MD & CEO of Morgan Stanley Mutual Fund.

    Ex-MD and CEO of Morgan Stanley Mutual Fund Anthony Heredia has today taken charge as the CEO of Baroda Pioneer Mutual Fund.

    “I am pleased and enthused to be a part of Baroda Pioneer AMC.  The global expertise of Pioneer Investments combined with the heritage and presence of Bank of Baroda should enable us to take the business to the next level. I look forward to a long association with the fund house,” said Anthony Heredia, CEO, Baroda Pioneer AMC in a press release.

    The fund house was scouting to fill the top post after Oliver Bilal left the fund house in May 2015.

    Heredia started his career in 1995 with Birla Sun Life Asset Management. He was the Assistant Vice President for Business Development and was associated with BSLAMC till 2001.

    He then joined HSBC Mutual Fund as the Head of Sales and Distribution. Anthony joined Morgan Stanley Mutual Fund in 2007 as Executive Director & Head of Sales and Marketing and was soon promoted to the position of CEO in 2008.

    Anthony is an All India rank holder Chartered Accountant and holds a graduate degree from the University of Mumbai. He has over 19 years of experience in investment management in the Indian asset management industry.

    Baroda Pioneer AMC manages AUM of Rs. 7,225 crore as on June 2015.
