Cafemutual has announced the winners of My Smart Business Idea which recognizes IFAs for their smart marketing ideas to acquire clients. We received more than 100 entries of which four were shortlisted as winners.
The first prize goes to Pradeep Kumar Jain from Ranchi who doubled his SIP clients in four months by analyzing his client data. He discovered that only 25% of the family had SIPs with him. He then set out to start a SIP for each family member. He got the photos of all family members printed on a coffee mug and sent them to all his clients. The coffee mug had the slogan - ' Save it, SIP it" and "SIP is good for your wealth". When he went to deliver the mugs, he asked the family members as to how much the family could save for each family member and explained to them the concept of SIPs. This exercise helped him get hundreds of new SIP enrollments.
The second prize goes to Ramesh Hegde from Davanagere (Karnataka). Ramesh grew his clientele by conducting IAPs and by appearing on DD Chandana Kannada TV Chanel’s show called Vayuktika Hanakasu Nirvahane. He AUA has grown from Rs. 80 lakh in 2011-12 to Rs. 22 crore in 2015. He has a SIP book of Rs. 32 lakh per month.
The consolation prizes went to Niyati Bhat from Ahmedabad and KL Kalyanakrishnan from Mumbai.
The first prize winner gets a cash prize of Rs. 10,000, second prize winner gets Rs. 5,000 and the consolation prize winners get Rs. 1,000 each. Heartiest congratulations from Team Cafemutual.
