Srinivasan Tiru Seshacharya has been elected as the new President of Council of Financial Planners (COFP), a Bengaluru based association of financial planners. Tiru succeeds Uday Dhoot of Oye Paisa.
“I am grateful that the managing committee has elected me as the President for this term. Uday had been leading the association very proactively and I look forward to continue to popularise this platform among IFAs,” said Tiru.
Speaking about the COFP initiatives, he said, “We are preparing for the forthcoming COFP annual convention which is tentatively scheduled for July 2016. Also, we are actively reaching out to all other financial planning associations across India to form one body.”
At present, the association has around 80 members.
