IFAs from Gujarat have formed a new association called Saurashtra Kutch IFA Association (SKIFAA).
Speaking about the new association, Sandeep Gandhi, Founder of Mega Financial Planners and President of SKIFAA said, “The objective behind forming the association is to unite all IFAs in Saurashtra and Kutch region. It is a meeting point for all distributors which will help them interact with peers and exchange ideas.”
Sandeep says that many young IFAs in Kutch region are discouraged with the constant regulatory changes and SKIFAA will guide them. “With the constant regulatory changes, many young IFAs in our area are not keen to continue in this profession. We want to encourage them. We will work towards the development of budding IFAs.”
SKIFAA plans to conduct regular training programs for IFAs to help them gain knowledge and grow their business. Further, the association aims to empower investors by spreading the word about the importance of financial planning through investor awareness programs.
The group has around 72 members and Sandeep urged more IFAs to join SKIFAA. To attract more IFAs, SKIFAA will not charge any registration fee but members have to cough up an annual fee of Rs.500. Sandeep acknowledged the efforts of Chetan Nanadani and Jayesh Sanghani in helping form the association.
