The BPO will address investor queries about mutual fund products
Mumbai: As a part of its investor education campaign, AMFI is planning to set up a call centre dedicated to answering queries from people who wish to invest in or know more about mutual funds. The call centre is expected to come up by the end of this month, according to an official close to the development. The official declined to comment on the cost to be incurred from this project.
AMFI’s mutual fund awareness advertisements are scheduled to hit television screens by the end of this month.
The industry body would be outsourcing this service and is in talks with various players for a tie up in this regard.
The BPO would spread awareness among investors about the various aspects of mutual funds. However, the BPO will not promote any specific fund house or a scheme.
