SBI MF has filed an offer document with SEBI for
Emerging Market Fund

SBI Mutual Fund has filed an offer document with SEBI to launch SBI Emerging
Market Fund, an open ended fund of funds scheme.
The
investment objective is to seek capital appreciation by investing
predominantly in emerging market equity funds. The scheme may also invest a
certain portion of its corpus in money market securities in India in order to
meet liquidity requirements from time to time. The scheme would allocate 80-100 per cent of assets in units
/ securities issued by overseas mutual funds investing into emerging market
equity. It would further
invest up to 20 per cent of assets in domestic debt, money market
instruments or listed equity securities of emerging market countries.
The
fund will be benchmarked against MSCI
EM Index. The scheme will charge 1 per cent exit load if units are redeemed
within 1 year from the date of allotment. The fund will be managed by Anup Upadhyay.
