Following Pankaj Murarka’s exit, Axis Mutual Fund has elevated Jinesh Gopani as Head - Equity. In his earlier role as fund manager, Jinesh used to manage some of Axis MF’s flagship schemes like Axis Equity Fund, Axis Long Term Equity Fund and Axis Mid Cap Fund.
He has 13 years of experience in capital markets. Prior to joining Axis AMC, he has worked with Birla Sun Life AMC, Voyager India Capital and Emkay Shares & Stock Brokers and Net worth Stock Broking.
Jinesh Gopani is a commerce graduate and has a Masters in finance.
As on August 2016, Axis MF manages Rs 47,086 crore.
