    UTI, Birla Sun Life and Kotak Mahindra win Asia Asset Management award 2016

    Leo Puri of UTI MF was adjudged as the CEO of the year, while both Mahesh Patil (Equity) and Maneesh Dangi (Fixed Income) of Birla Sun Life MF bagged the CIO of the year award.

    Three Indian fund houses – UTI, Birla Sun Life and Kotak Mahindra have won awards at Best of the Best Awards 2016.

    Asia Asset Management’s Best of the Best Awards gives recognition to financial institutions and pension funds for outstanding achievements over the past calendar year. Best of the Best Awards is broken down into three divisions: a) performance, b) country and c) regional awards, to acknowledge each and every area where excellence has occurred.

    UTI MF has won the award for India’s best fund house. Similarly, Birla Sun Life MF and Kotak Mahindra MF bagged awards for the best investor education and ETF manager of the year respectively.

    While both - Mahesh Patil (Equity) and Maneesh Dangi  (Fixed income) of Birla Sun Life MF bagged the CIO of the year award, Leo Puri of UTI MF was adjudged as the CEO of the year.

    Meanwhile, Chennai based financial service provider, IFMR Investment Managers won award for the most innovative product.
