Now, customers of Aviva Life can write a secure digitalised will. Aviva Life Insurance has launched an online will writing facility for its customers.

This facility helps customers make a will for their assets in three simple steps within 15 minutes i.e. writing personal & asset details, nominating beneficiaries and generating it without any cost.

The company claims that legal experts have drafted the will to ensure legal and personal security. Investors can also make changes to their will at their convenience.

Anjali Malhotra, Chief Customer, Marketing and Digital Officer, Aviva Life, says, “A will is a sensitive topic in India. There exist a lot of misconceptions and apprehensions about making a will as people often associate it with death and unfortunate circumstances. In addition, many people put off writing a will because they find it a costly and tedious affair. Addressing this gap, we have launched this service for our customers online, free of cost, with the aim to encourage everyone to create their will with ease.”

The customer’s personal asset data remains completely secure at all times, as the portal does not store any data. It is advisable for the customers to get the generated will duly notarized, even though it may be noted that any written will is better than no having will document in place.
