Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund has launched Mahindra Manulife short-term debt fund, an open-ended fund that will invest in instruments having maturity between 1 and 3 years.
The scheme is suitable for investors looking for a balance of safety, liquidity and yield with a 1-3 year horizon.
In a press release, Ashutosh Bishnoi, MD and CEO, Mahindra Manulife MF, said, “Given the current environment of volatility, Mahindra Manulife MF would like to encourage retail investors to participate in the debt market. The fund has been launched for investors looking for a balance of safety, liquidity and yield with 1 - 3 year horizon.”
Rahul Pal, Head – Fixed Income, Mahindra Manulife MF said, “The investment architecture will aim to minimize concentration risk by continuously monitoring sector and group exposures and maintain a laddered approach to liquidity.”
