IDFC MF has announced the launch of a multiap fund. It is an open-ended equity scheme that will invest across largecap, midcap and smallcap equities.

The fund will also look to invest in IPOs, new age businesses and international equities, IDFC MF said.

In a press release, Vishal Kapoor, CEO, IDFC AMC said, "The fund will provide a disciplined, well-balanced approach towards all three market cap segments while also benefiting from tactical allocations. It endeavours to build a portfolio of dependable, high quality companies with a strong financial track record, thereby providing convenient broad-market access to long term lump-sum equity as well as SIP investors.”

The fund will be managed by Daylynn Pinto.
