Bajaj Finserv Mutual Fund has launched Bajaj Finserv Banking and PSU Fund, an open ended debt fund that aims to invest in high quality credit instruments issued by banks and PSUs.
In a press release, Ganesh Mohan, CEO, Bajaj Finserv MF said, “Our fund opens the door for investors to tap into the fixed income investment opportunities available in the banking and PSU space, while enjoying the benefits of professional fund management. It is suitable for investors who want a relatively stable investment option for their capital.”
Nimesh Chandan, CIO, Bajaj Finserv MF said, “The fund would maintain high credit quality and the allocation would comprise of 80% in high credit quality bonds of banks and PSU companies and 20% in sovereign and other high credit quality bonds."
The fund will be jointly managed by Siddharth Chaudhary, Senior Fund Manager- Fixed Income and Nimesh Chandan, CIO.
