Old Bridge Mutual Fund has forayed into the mutual fund business with the launch of Old Bridge Focused Equity Fund, an open-ended equity scheme that will invest in a concentrated portfolio of up to 30 stocks across market capitalizations.
In a press release, Kenneth Andrade, CIO, Old Bridge MF, said, "We are excited to introduce our first equity fund to investors seeking long-term capital appreciation. The fund's strategy is aligned with our investment philosophy focusing on early-cycle businesses with strong leadership and growth potential.”
Talking to media, Kenneth said that his fund house will identify top performing companies in the underperforming sectors to create investment portfolio among other things. He said that the fund will focus on high quality companies to create good track record of performance and generate alpha for investors.
The NFO opens on January 17 and ends on January 19, 2024.
