Religare Mutual Fund has launched a 3 year closed end scheme called Religare Capital Protection Oriented Fund - Series 1
MUMBAI: Religare Mutual Fund has launched a closed end Religare Capital Protection Oriented Fund Series 1. The tenure of the scheme will be for three years from the date of allotment. The new fund offer is open from March 1, 2011 to March 15, 2011.
The investment objective of the scheme to protect capital by investing in high quality fixed income securities and to generate capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity related instruments. The scheme would allocate 80 to 100 per cent of assets in debt and money market instruments with low to medium risk profile. It would further allocate up to 20 per cent of assets in equity and equity related securities with high risk profile.
The minimum application amount will be Rs 5,000 and the scheme will not charge any entry or exit load. The scheme will be jointly managed by Sujoy Kumar Das (Debt) and Vetri Subramaniam (Equity). It will be benchmarked against CRISIL MIP Blended Index.
