Bajaj Finserv AMC has launched its multi cap fund, an open ended equity funds which will invest at least 25% each of the total corpus in large, mid and small cap companies.
In a press release, Ganesh Mohan, Chief Executive Officer, Bajaj Finserv AMC said, “The fund will employ a contrarian strategy by investing in companies available at attractive prices and below their intrinsic value, aiming to capture growth across all market segments while allowing opportunities to fully materialize over the course of their business cycles. Nimesh Chandan, Chief Investment Officer, Bajaj Finserv AMC said, “The fund will follow a disciplined framework, providing equal opportunities to discover contrarian ideas across all market cap segments. It will invest a minimum of 25% in each large, mid, and small cap companies, thus capitalizing on opportunities across the market cap spectrum. The fund will create a robust and well-balanced portfolio, utilizing the INQUBE investment philosophy, which makes use of superior information collection, behavioural insights, and quantitative analysis.”
The equity portion of the fund will be managed jointly by Nimesh Chandan, Chief Investment Officer, and Sorbh Gupta, Senior Fund Manager – Equities. Siddharth Chaudhary, Senior Fund Manager – Fixed Income, will be handling the debt portion.
