Edelweiss Mutual Fund today announced the new fund offer (‘NFO’) of ‘Edelweiss Fixed Maturity Plan – Series 41’. The NFO is aimed at investors who seek to benefit from tax adjusted returns by investing in fixed income securities for a period of 3 years.
Swayam Mangwani will manage this close-ended fund. The NFO will close on March 27, 2017. Edelweiss Fixed Maturity Plan – Series 41, will be listed on the NSE.
The fund will have a prudent mix of Sovereign, AAA and AA rated assets that have a potential to generate optimal returns with relatively low volatility.
Talking about the launch of Edelweiss Fixed Maturity Plan – Series 41, Radhika Gupta, CEO, Edelweiss MF said, “Keeping in mind investors’ interest, the investment strategy we have adopted for the scheme is to generate income through investment in debt/money market instruments and government securities. The scheme seeks to generate higher returns with potential tax benefits compared to traditional fixed deposits, which will help investors planning for income over medium to long term.”
