A report released by Cafemutual shows that Nippon India ETF Nifty 50 BeES has the highest 1-year average trading volume of Rs.62 crore among large cap ETFs. SBI Nifty 50 ETF and Nippon India ETF Nifty Next 50 Junior BeES are next in the list with 1-year average trading volume of Rs.11 crore and Rs. 6 crore, respectively.
1-year average trading volume is calculated by the average amount of trade in a year divided by the number of days in the trading cycle. Trading volume indicates the liquidity and number of investors. The higher the trading volume, better the fund.
Among mid cap ETFs, Nippon India ETF Nifty Midcap 150, Mirae Asset Nifty Midcap 150 ETF, ICICI Prudential Nifty Midcap 150 ETF are the top three funds with 1-year average trading volume of Rs.3crore, Rs.60 lakh and 30 lakh, respectively.
While in sectoral ETF category, Nippon India ETF Nifty Bank BeES has the highest 1-year average trading volume, ICICI Prudential Nifty 100 Low Volatility 30 ETF has the highest one-year trading volume in factor ETF category.
Among debt ETFs, Nippon India ETF Nifty 1D Rate Liquid BeES has highest trading volume of Rs.197crore in liquid ETF category
