Here is how you can tackle volatility in debt mutual funds

Source: Economic Times Oct 18, 2017

The debt mutual fund space is creating a lot of confusion among investors, especially the new ones. After a series of cuts in bank deposit rates and small savings, many new investors have started investing in debt mutual fund schemes. This is the reason why direct schemes are not good for investors. They need a distributor to understand which is the right scheme for her or him. I am disappointed with cafemutual since they only talk about investors and their confusion but never say that they should not go direct so they will not get confused. All of the inflow in Mutual funds are purely because of distributor's hard work and also because we made investors understand the reason why they should invest and what not to do in investing and what to expect from it. We do all the hard work and now all industry prople and regulators kick on our stomach, how right is that? We bring you bread and butter and you only want to take our bread and butter from us, this is terrorism on us and the investors.
