You hear it every day: Stock X doubled or tripled in a year. How about mutual funds? Do they also double and triple investments? We decided to do some research and find out whether any mutual fund schemes multiplied investors' money in a short to medium time period.
We started with diversified equity schemes. During our research, we found out that quite a few schemes in the largecap, midcap, smallcap and multicap categories tripled investments in four years.
