    Investors are betting big on credit opportunity funds. The category saw its assets soar from around Rs 50,000 crore in July 2014 to Rs 2.21 lakh crore in September 2017. Many mutual fund experts are concerned as they believe the investors are investing in these schemes only on the basis of past returns, unmindful of the risks involved.

    According to Value Research, a mutual fund tracking firm, credit opportunity mutual fund category has generated an average return of 7.82 per cent ..
